CANDLES  FOR  ADVENT

Each family or individual is invited to bring a candle for the Advent Worship Center.

These candles will remind us each week of Jesus as the Light coming in the darkness of our world.

The candles also will be different -- some tall, some short, and of various colors -- representing

how we as different people with different gifts are also called to be the light of the world.

Please bring your candle and place it in the box which will be on the front pew as you go

toward the Great Room.  Paula Ulrich will arrange the collected candles as a Worship

Center for the first Sunday of Advent, December 3rd.

If you miss the first Sunday, though, candles may be added to the arrangement as we go through

Advent -- it's never too late!  Just put your candle in the box, and Paula will make sure to add it.

Also, please bring a candle that is thick enough to last all four Sundays and Christmas Eve.

May we light up the world together as we share the Good News of Jesus Christ!
