Then, listening quietly to the Prelude, prepare yourself for Worship with

a time of silent prayer, and meditation.)

CALL TO WORSHIP

(Psalm 118)

Christ is risen!

Christ is risen indeed!

This is the day that the Lord has made!

Let us rejoice and be glad in it.  Alleluia!

Let us worship our God.

THE PRAYER OF CONFESSION

(in unison)

Almighty God, you have raised Jesus from death to life, and

crowned him Lord of all.  We confess that we have not bowed

before him, or acknowledged his rule over our lives.  We have

gone along with the ways of the world, and failed to give him

glory.  Forgive us, and raise us from sin, that we may be your

people, obeying the commands of our Lord Jesus Christ, who

rules the world and is head of the church, his body.  Amen.

(Followed by a moment of silent prayer.)

ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS

Leader: Our assurance is this:  "There is therefore now no

condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus . . . For

God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could

not do."  God sent the Savior, who redeems us of all

unworthiness.  Know that you are forgiven and be at peace.

People:  In Jesus Christ we are forgiven.

Let us forgive one another.   Amen.

THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION

Invitation to the Lord's Table.

The Great Prayer of Thanksgiving.

Leader:  The Lord be with you.

People:  And also with you.

Leader:  Lift up your hearts.

People:  We lift them up to the Lord.

Leader:  Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

People:  It is right to give thanks and praise.

Leader:  It is truly right and our greatest joy to give you

thanks and  praise, ...

Therefore we praise you, joining our voices with

angels and archangels and with all the faithful of every

time and place, who forever sing to the glory of your name:

People:  Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of power and might,

heaven and earth are full of your glory.  Hosanna in the

highest.  Blessed is he who comes in the name of the

Lord.  Hosanna in the highest.

Leader:  Accept this, our

sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving as a living and

holy offering of ourselves, that our lives may proclaim

the one crucified and Risen.   Great is the mystery of faith:

In Unison:  Christ has died, Christ has Risen, Christ will come again.

The Lord's Prayer (debts and debtors).

Breaking of the Bread.

Communion of the people.

Prayer After Communion

(In Unison)

In union with your entire church in heaven and here on earth,

we pray, O God, that you will fulfill your eternal purpose in us

through the birth, life, death, and resurrection of your Son, our

Savior, and the Redeemer of the world.  Keep us faithful in your

service until Christ comes again in final victory, and we shall

feast with all the saints in the joy of your eternal kingdom.  Amen.
